Our Fees:

(Fees under review in April and September in accordance with changes to the department of education).

Sessions and Top-Up Hours
To help children settle and get the most from their time with us, we ask families to book a minimum of two sessions per week. The sessions listed below are the only sessions we currently offer.
If you need extra hours, please speak to us and we will do our best to help. Extra top-up hours can only be offered when we have space and can safely meet our staffing ratios.

Early Years Entitlement
From the term after your child turns 2 or 3, they may be able to receive 15 hours of funded childcare each week through Early Years Entitlement. Please make sure you
read the additional charges section below to know how we apply your hours at our
setting. Little Learners Pre-school will claim the universal 15 funded hours on your behalf from West Sussex County Council.
Before we can do this, we will ask you to complete a West Sussex County Council claim form and bring in your child’s birth certificate so that we can check their eligibility. For further information, please visit www.westsussex.gov.uk.

30-Hour Funding
We are also happy to accept 30-hour funding where families are eligible. Unlike the universal 15 hours, parents need to apply for this funding directly.
To check whether you qualify, please visit the HMRC website and follow the application steps.
Once you have your unique 30-hour code, please share it with us. We will also ask for your permission to complete our own eligibility check with West Sussex County Council when we submit your child’s funding details. It remains parental
responsibility to renew your code every term. Funding has been known to be
removed by HMRC if you do not requalify. Private fees are then due for the term until your code is requalified.

Additional Hours and Charges
If your child attends any extra privately paid hours or sessions beyond their funded entitlement, these will be added to your invoice at the applicable rate shown above. Because Little Learners is open for 50 weeks of the year, we stretch funded hours across the year so children can attend all year round.
 15 funded hours are stretched to 11 hours per week.
 30 funded hours are stretched to 22 hours per week.
 Top-up hours are charged at £8.50 per hour for all ages.

Consumables Fees
 £8.00 for full-day or school-day sessions.
 £5.50 for morning or afternoon sessions.
This helps us provide nutritionally balanced meals and snacks, along with additional classes delivered by visiting teachers. These are applied at parental consent.

Childcare Vouchers
We are registered with many childcare voucher providers and are happy to accept childcare vouchers as payment towards your fees.

Payment of Fees
Invoices are sent on the 1st of each month for the month ahead. We kindly ask that invoices are paid within seven days of receipt.
Our preferred payment method is BACS directly into the Little Learners bank account. We can also accept cash payments, but we no longer accept cheques. If you are ever worried about paying your invoice, please speak to Claire as soon as possible so we can talk things through with you. Please be aware that fees still need to be paid on time, as unpaid fees may affect your child’s place at Little Learners.

Monthly Billing

Fees are worked out month by month, based on the sessions your child attends. Your invoice may be slightly different each month because some months have more
sessions than others.
