 Early Years Entitlement:

The term after your child reaches the age of 2 or 3, they are then entitled to 15 hours free childcare a week through Early Years Entitlement. This place is claimed for by Little Learners Pre-school to West Sussex County Council. Before this can be claimed, we need you to fill out a West Sussex County Council claim form and bring your child's birth certificate into the setting, so we can confirm your child's eligibility. Please note the setting claims your Universal funding for you {15hrs}. For further information please go to WWW.WESTSUSSEX.GOV.UK

We also accept 30hr funding. We do not claim this funding for you, please go to the HMRC WWW.GOV.UK website and follow the steps to see if you are eligible for this funding. We will need your unique 30hr code once you receive it and your permission to run our own eligibility check on West Sussex County Councils website when we submit your child’s funding.

If your child attends any extra hours over and above of your funding hours at pre-school you will be invoiced for the additional hours/sessions at the rate stipulated above.

At Little Learners we stretch the funding over the 50 weeks we are open for so the children attend all year round. 15hrs is stretched to 11 hrs a week and 30 hrs is stretched to 22 hrs a week. We require you use all of your funding in a minimum of 2 sessions. Top up hours are charged at £5.50 per hr. We also add on a one off fee for consumables of £8.00 for full or school day and £5.00 for morning or afternoon session. This includes drinks, snacks and classes we may offer but not Forest School Classes where there maybe a top up required.

We are still offering fully funded sessions where no additional fees are added, these are from 9-12pm or 1-4pm where available, we only have limited places for these. Please ask.

Childcare Vouchers:

Payment of fees:

Fees are charged every month; invoices will be sent out on the 1st of every month for the month ahead and will be due within 7 days of receipt.

We prefer payment to be paid by BACS straight into Little Learners bank account or you can pay cash, please note we no longer accept cheques. Our current fees are charged at the rate below. Fees are subjected to yearly review and increases as required. Any issues with paying your invoice please speak to Claire directly. Please note if fees are not paid on time you risk losing your place at Little Learners.

All fees billed will be the same amount each month for ease. A direct debit into the nursery account is the most effective way to pay your invoice so you won’t incur any additional fees.
