Little Learners Pre-school was founded in September 2013 by owner and Director, Claire Simpson. Initially, we were based in Boxgrove village but an opportunity arose in April 2015 for us to move into central Chichester. Now we are based in a brand new lodge on Keepers Green, in the Graylingwell Park Development.

 

We are open 51 weeks of the year from 8.00 am - 6.00 pm. We have a growing reputation for being a small, nurturing, professional setting with dedicated and caring staff.  The staff within our team, all trained with early years qualifications, ranging from a Level 2 BTEC Diploma to Early Years teacher status. All the team have enhanced DRB disclosures, all relevant safeguarding training and have completed Pediatric first aid training.

Our main hall leads straight out to our enclosed garden which allows us to have free-flow play all day. The garden is set up to offer different activities to develop physical play, imaginative play, sand, water, outdoor reading, mark making a discovery area and a mud kitchen. The setting is well equipped with a large selection of indoor and outdoor toys and equipment for your child to select and enjoy. We adore our local environment and utilise this as much as possible for going for walks, growing produce at the community garden, having sessions at the Wild Space forest school and just simply being amongst the trees.

 

We are passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and education. We pride ourselves on our high expectations of the children and our positive working relationships with parents. Working collectively, we build strong foundations for your child to bloom and grow. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, we provide children with a large range of activities to develop their early year's skills, confidence, and self-esteem. To help build strong, working relationships with our parents we use an online learning journal system called Tapestry. Tapestry allows us to post instant observations of your child engaged in their wonderful world of learning, providing you with reassurance your child is engaged and happy.
